Diana Cabeza (Buenos Aires, 1954-2024)

Architect, designer, and founder of Estudio Cabeza, Diana Cabeza studied Fine Arts and architecture in Buenos Aires. She began her career designing domestic equipment, gaining recognition with the Galletita chair and Sensual Pampa (1989), which celebrated local materials. Her work in Puerto Madero led her to found Estudio Cabeza, creating urban furniture for public spaces in cities like Buenos Aires, New York, and Tokyo. Her designs, awarded and exhibited internationally, blend functionality, beauty, and simplicity.

Ignacio Coló (Buenos Aires, 1980)

Argentine photographer and photo editor. He studied the History of Photography at the University of Sorbonne and completed his training at the Argentine School of Photography and SICA, specializing as a Director of Photography for film. Horacio Coppola (Buenos Aires, 1906-2012)

Argentine photographer. In 1932, he studied at the Bauhaus Photography Department in Berlin, led by Walter Peterhans, where he met Grete Stern, a German photographer whom he married three years later. Upon his return to Buenos Aires in 1935, he dedicated himself exclusively to photography. His images of Buenos Aires, dating back to the early 1930s, are a cornerstone in the photographic tradition that captures the essence of the city. His work has been exhibited in national and international museums and institutions.

Facundo de Zuviría (Buenos Aires, 1954)

Photographer, lives in Buenos Aires, and the city is the central theme of his work. He has published several books with his work, including Estampas porteñas (1996), Siesta argentina (2003), and Paraná ra’angá (2013), among others. He has exhibited at the São Paulo Biennials (1991) and the Mercosur Biennial (2000), in various museums and galleries worldwide, and recently at the Fondation Cartier (Paris, 2013), ICP (New York, 2014), Museo Lasar Segall (São Paulo, 2014), Museo Amparo (Puebla, Mexico, 2014), and Museo Colección Fortabat (Buenos Aires, 2014). He has received two Konex Awards (1992, 2012) and the Leonardo Award (1996) from the National Museum of Fine Arts. His photos are part of collections in Argentina and numerous private and institutional collections abroad.

Guillermo González Ruiz (Chascomús, 1937)

Argentine architect, graduated in 1965 from UBA. Between 1961 and 1966, he worked as a graphic designer in several advertising agencies. In 1968, he joined the studio González Ruiz, Méndez Mosquera, and Ronald Shakespear. He was the director of the design group that developed the Buenos Aires signage system. Since 1974, he has designed projects for both public and private companies and has served as the director of the graphic design program at UBA. His work has been published in international design magazines.

Daniela Mac Adden (La Plata, 1968)

Cristóbal Palma (Oxford, 1974)

He studied architecture at the Architectural Association in London, where he began his career as a photographer specializing in architecture and urban landscapes. In 2008, he founded Estudio Palma in Santiago, Chile. His work has been exhibited individually and collectively in several countries, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and he has participated in multiple Venice Architecture Biennales. His encounter with art was self-taught and experimental. He ventured into drawing, painting, ready-made, installations, photography, and digital media. After training in painting, drawing, and photography, and exhibiting in various galleries, museums, and national and international art fairs, he is now working on different urban interventions. His mediums are highly diverse: billboards, construction site facades, satellite dishes, illegally parked cars, and circulating banknotes. He directs a scenographic space in an old shop in the Colegiales neighborhood, where he hosts a series of exhibitions and fosters human and artistic encounters.

Fernando Schapochnik (Ushuaia, 1986).

Architect (FADU-UBA), photographer, and architectural editor. He lives and works in Buenos Aires. He studied photography at the Escuela de Fotografía Creativa. After working as an architect at Baudizzone Lestard and Torrado Arquitectos, he turned to photography as a research tool on architecture and the city. In addition to his photography practice, he is currently an adjunct professor in the Photography and Territory course at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and executive editor and photographer for the architecture magazine PLOT.

Ronald Shakespear (Rosario, 1941)

Argentine designer. He founded Diseño Shakespear and directed it until his retirement. He was a Full Professor at FADU/UBA and President of ADG. He has served as a judge in several international competitions and received recognitions such as the Silver Pencil and the SEGD Fellow Award, being the first Latin American to receive it. Acknowledged as "Honorary Professor" by UBA and "Distinguished Designer" by Rosario, his work has been exhibited globally and published in prominent media. His photograph of Borges in the Library is part of the Borges Foundation in Buenos Aires.

Martín Simonyan (Buenos Aires, 1980)

He holds a degree in Landscape Planning and Design (UBA) and a technical degree in Multimedia Systems (UB), currently completing a specialization in Thematic Cartography Applied to Spatial Analysis (UNGS). He has been an advisor and external consultant on landscape design for the Buenos Aires City Government. He is part of the Plus Urbano studio, awarded in national and international competitions for landscape and regional planning projects. He teaches in the Green Spaces Planning Chair (FAUBA) and other educational spaces. He collaborates with the Centro de Estudios Ribera Buenos Aires. He is the creator of the Urban Tree Project, a collaborative map that integrates technology and landscape to promote the value of trees in cities.

Pedro Ignacio Yañez (Buenos Aires, 1981)

Marcos Zimmermann (Buenos Aires, 1950)

Argentine photographer. He studied film at the Experimental Center of the National Film Institute.
