She was born in Buenos Aires in 1969. She graduated from the Prilidiano Pueyrredón National School of Fine Arts. She complemented her academic training in workshops led by María Mihanovich, Marcia Schwartz, and Pablo Suárez. She also took Art History courses with Laura Batkis. Among her solo exhibitions, "Bomba de Brillos/Espectacular" at the Museum of Contemporary Art of La Boca (2020) stands out; "Pan Dulce" at Pasto Brasil Gallery in Buenos Aires (2019); "Un jardín sobre una playa, una playa sobre una ciudad, una ciudad sobre un cerro" at Galería del Paseo, Punta del Este, Uruguay (2016); "Futuro Brillante" at Van Riel Gallery, Buenos Aires (2015); "El Resplandor" at PrismaKh (2014); "Obra reciente" at Galería del Paseo, Lima, Peru (2014), and "El cielo bajo tus pies" at Praxis Gallery, Buenos Aires, among many others.
She participated in collective exhibitions such as "Naturaleza, refugio y recurso del hombre" at the Kirchner Cultural Center (2017); "Salón de los rechazados, Naranja Verde" in Buenos Aires (2012); and "SynchroNY-city" at the Argentine Consulate in New York, United States (2011). She carried out site-specific projects such as "Acción Todos contentos" at C.H.I.N.A (2013); "25 unidades disponibles, una obra de Cynthia Cohen y Gian Paolo Minelli" at C.H.I.N.A (2011), and at Think Argentina, Arteba (2010), among others.
In 2015, she won the Banco Central Selection Award, in 2003 the University of Palermo Selection Award, and the Banco Ciudad Selection Award. In 2000, she received the First Selection Award from the Banco Ciudad Foundation and the First Prize from the Alianza Francesa Distinction. In 1999, she was the First Selection for the University of Palermo Award.
MARINA DE CARO

She was born in Mar del Plata in 1961. She earned a degree in Art History from the University of Buenos Aires in 1992. She attended workshops to enhance her artistic training, including those led by José María Cáceres, Julio Flores, and Guillermo Kexel. She participated in the Kuitca Scholarship between 1997 and 1998 and in the Confrontation of Work Encounter of the Trama Project from its inception in 2000; later, she joined as a member of the organizing committee. Since 1991, she has been a full-time professor of Design and Experimentation in the Higher Technical Career in Fashion Design and Apparel of the Women's Library Association.
Between 2000 and 2003, she traveled across the country as a tutor in clinics for young artists managed by the Antorchas Foundation. She served as the educational curator of the 7th Mercosur Biennial, Grito e escuta, in Porto Alegre (2009). In 2013, she was responsible for the educational area of the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires, where she designed and developed the program "El laberinto de los sentidos." She was invited to the Sundaymorning@ekwc Residence in the Netherlands (2010) and the International Residence of Argentine Artists (RIAA) in Ostend (2007). She received the Konex Platinum Award in the Textile Art category in 2012 and the 1st Prize in Painting awarded by the Federico Jorge Klemm Foundation in 1999. In that year, she received the Creation Grant from the Antorchas Foundation and the Grant for Creation Projects from the National Arts Fund.
She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, and among her solo exhibitions, notable ones include "Turista en un agujero negro" at Ruth Benzacar Art Gallery, Buenos Aires (2011); "My head wants to create a world" at Galerie Vanessa Quang, Paris (2011); "Tragedia griega" at Alberto Sendrós Gallery, Buenos Aires (2007); and "Domingo X027" at Gara Gallery, Buenos Aires (2001).
SIGISMOND DE VAJAY

He was born in Paris in 1972. Since 2009, he has been living and working in Buenos Aires. He is an artist, curator, and editor. He worked in Vevey (Switzerland), Barcelona, and trained at the School of Visual Arts in New York. He creates installations, drawings, videos, interventions in public spaces, and sculptures. In 2002, he settled in Barcelona where, with a collective, he established a platform for contemporary art, KBB (Kültur Büro Barcelona). He has developed significant projects for galleries, museums, and institutions in Switzerland, France, Spain, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Brazil, among others.
His work highlights the systems governing the planet, social irregularities and differences, power, and overall control. With a disillusioned perspective, his works constantly oscillate between human and machine, individual and mass, or nature and technology. His productions share the aesthetics of dystopia, with which he describes the condition of contemporary societies in a state of decay. Since 2012, he has been collaborating with the Xippas Gallery in Paris, Punta del Este, and Geneva.

She was born in Buenos Aires in 1966. She studied in the workshop of Diana Aisenberg (1988-1991) and received the Kuitca-Fundación Antorchas Fellowship (1991-1993). She participated in residencies at Art Omi, New York (1997); Apex Art, New York (2000) with a Fulbright-National Arts Fund scholarship; Chinati Foundation, Marfa (2002); and The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center Residency, Italy (2005). She presented a selection of site-specific installations at the Catalinas Subway Station in Buenos Aires (2019); Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires (2017); Faena Forum, Miami (2016); Notas de Luz, Usina del Arte, Buenos Aires (2016); and Project Row Houses, Houston (2003). She has had solo exhibitions in New York, Houston, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Miami, Marseille, and Texas.
In 2013, the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires showcased her retrospective exhibition "Gramática del Color," curated by Victoria Noorthoorn. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including "Tácticas luminosas. Artistas mujeres en torno a la galería del Rojas" at the Fortabat Museum, Buenos Aires (2019); "Encofrados" at MACBA, Buenos Aires (2017); "Recovering Beauty" at the Blanton Museum, Austin (2011), and "Beginning with a Bang!" at Americas Society, New York (2007). She was born in Mar del Plata in 1963. She holds a degree in Education from the National University of Quilmes with a focus on early childhood education. For the past 30 years, she has been involved in teaching children and rural communities. She participated in the Visual Arts Workshops Program at the Rojas Cultural Center UBA/Kuitca Fellowship in 2003-2005 and received consecutive grants from the Antorchas Foundation for the Visual Arts Perfection Clinic led by Sergio Bazán (1998-2001). She works with installation, embroidery, painting, and social practice. Her work focuses on a variety of themes, including design and urban architecture, bodies in space, community interaction, textile memory, and the intimate.
Her role as an educator intersects with her identity as an artist, evident in specific works like "Sala de juego" at Centro Cultural Recoleta (2017) and in artistic projects of different cultural institutions where she has been involved as an educational consultant. Her work has been featured in numerous national and international exhibitions, including "Textos textiles" at Ungallery (2021); the 14th Curitiba Biennial, Brazil (2019); "Convergence and crash" at Laca Projects, United States (2019); and "Paisaje pintado" at Tecnópolis (2016). Her work is part of public and private collections. She has served as an educational consultant for the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires, the CCK, the Vergel Foundation, and the "Liliana Maresca" School Project in Villa Fiorito.
Since 2009, she has been a member of the PintorAs collective, a self-managed space for the visibility of Argentinean artists. She lives and works in Buenos Aires.

She was born in Buenos Aires in 1969. She is a professional photographer. She attended photography workshops with Alberto Goldenstein (1990-1992) and Fabiana Barreda (1999-2001). She was a fellow of the Rojas-Kuitca Visual Arts Program (Kuitca Fellowship) from 2003 to 2005 and the Intercampos II Program in 2006 at Fundación Telefónica. Some of her works are part of the collections of the National Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires, and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rosario, Argentina. In 2017, she received the 1st Prize in the Visual Arts Contest of the National Arts Fund. Currently, she works as a teacher in the Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Arts at the University Tres de Febrero.
CECILIA SZALKOWICZ

She was born in Buenos Aires in 1971. An artist, graphic designer, and editor, she graduated from the UBA, where she also taught. She studied photography with Alberto Goldenstein (1994-95), received the Kuitca Fellowship (2003-2005), and was part of the faculty of the Artists Program at the Torcuato Di Tella University. She was a member of the Suscripción collective (1999-2005). She participated in the CIFO Grants Program, CIFO–Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation; the 2nd Poly/Graphic Triennial of San Juan: Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Cuenca Biennial. She carried out the project "Reunión" (Buenos Aires – Berlin, 2010) with Gastón Pérsico, Roman Schramm, and Hella Gerlach, supported by IFA – Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen, and the publication "Script," with Gastón Pérsico and Mariano Mayer. She has held numerous exhibitions in Argentina and abroad. She received the Braque Award in 2019 and the 8M Award in 2023. Her work is part of the collections of the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, the Castagnino+macro Museum in Rosario, and MOMA, the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

He was born in Buenos Aires in 1972. He is an artist, graphic designer, and DJ. He was a fellow of the Rojas UBA/Kuitca Visual Arts Workshops Program (2003-2005) and the 2010 Program of the CIA Center for Artistic Investigations. He was part of the Suscripción collective (1999-2005). In 2006, he received the second Prize arteBA-Petrobras for Heavy Mental Records. In collaboration with Cecilia Szalkowicz, he participated in the CIFO Grant Program 2007, Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation (Miami), and the 2nd Poly/Graphic Triennial of San Juan: Latin America and the Caribbean (Puerto Rico 2009).
He had solo exhibitions at the National Museum of Engraving, Malba, Goethe Institute, Fotogalería del Rojas, CCEBA, Belleza y Felicidad, Nora Fisch Arte Contemporáneo, Mite Galería (Buenos Aires), and collectively at the Museum of Modern Art, Fundación Proa, Parque de la Memoria (Buenos Aires), Macro - Museum of Contemporary Art of Rosario, Museum of Modern Art (Mendoza); Museum of Contemporary Art (Bahía Blanca), among others.
