Nicolás Rodríguez
Nicolás Rodríguez (Mendoza, 1986) grew up in Buenos Aires Province. His multidisciplinary practice encompasses installation, object-making, ceramics, action, video, and research, examining manual labor as a method to explore origin, time, and materiality. He holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad Nacional del Arte (UNA) and has participated in the Artists Program at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (2021/22), AB-ele (2020/22), Programa Semillero (Proyecto 'ACE, 2020), and Proyecto PAC (2018).
His work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions, including Corteza Interna (Centro Cultural Recoleta, cur. Javier Villa, 2025), Fragmentos e historias (Museo Larreta, cur. Silvina Amighini, 2025), BIENALSUR (La Rioja, 2025), and the Argentine Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale (Siestario, 2025). He has been a guest lecturer at the Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln (KHM, Germany) and artist-in-residence at SOMA (Mexico City), URRA, and Raíces. His work is held in both public and private collections, and he has received honors from the Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales, Premio Klemm, Concurso Nacional UADE, Premio Itaú, and the Beca Constelaciones from Fundación Williams. He is currently an artist-in-residence at PROA21.
