• Gabriel Baggio was born in 1974 in Buenos Aires, where he currently lives and works. He graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón (1998). He participated in Performagia (2007) and the Hong Konk International Artist´s Workshop (2005) and was in residence at the Museum of Modern Art in Dublin (2003-2004), invited by Unesco-Aschberg. He took part of various performances, solo and group exhibitions at the Fundación Federico Klemm (2011); World Bank of Washington (2011-2012); Frankfurter Kunstverein (2010); 1st Biennial of the Americas in Denver (2010); the Museums of Modern Art of Buenos Aires (2010 y 2003) and Dublin (2004); Malba (2008); Fundación PROA (2009); the Museums of Contemporary Art of Caracas (2008), Río de Janeiro (2007) and Rosario (2007); the Exhibition Centre of Saint-Hyacinthe in Montreal (2006), amongst others. He received first prize at the Klemm Visual Art Salon (2009); the under 35 prize of the LX Rosario International Salon (2006); the subsidy for Artistic Creation of the National Art Fund (2003) y from the Metropolitan Fund of Buenos Aires (2007 y 2009). His work is included in the collections of Fundación Klemm and the Museo Castagnino Macro in Rosario, y various private collections in Argentina, Brazil, Canada and England.

  • Irina Kirchuk was born in Buenos Aires in 1983. She graduated in Sculpture and Visual Arts from the Instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte (IUNA). She was selected by the Centro de Investigaciones Artísticas (CIA) as part of the scholars for 2011. She currently takes part of the 11th Lyon Biennale: A terrible beauty is born, curated by Victoria Noorthoorn. He participated at the Universidad Di Tella’ s artist program (2009) and for two years took the art clinic by Fabián Burgos. From 2008, she assists artist Jorge Macchi. She had the following solo exhibitions: Troogle (Galería Nora Fisch, 2010); Alternos Internos (Centro Cultural Borges, 2009) and Ciclo Ojo de Agua (Galería en Ruinas, 2009). She was included in various group exhibitions including: Sabotage (MACRO, Rosario, 2011); In situ / Contrapuntos del Arte Actual (CCEBA, 2010); Palmario (Galería D21, Santiago de Chile, 2010-2011); Estrellas y Constelaciones (Universidad Di Tella, 2010); Pentagrama (Fondo Nacional de las Artes, 2010); Nueva Escultura (Miau Miau, 2008); and Currículum Cero (Galería Ruth Benzacar, 2008). She is part of the art collectives Doble Suspensión (Double Suspension) and Herméticos Populistas (Hermetic Populists). She has been selected at the XIII Prize by the Federico Klemm Foundation in 2009 and the award by Fundación Andreani in 2009 and 2011.

Andrés Paredes

Andrés Paredes was born in Apóstoles, Misiones in 1979. He is a graphic designer, graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the National University of Misiones. In 2005 he was selected for the educational project in visual arts in Alto Paraná, where he took part of art clinics with artists and critics Tulio de Sagastizábal, Pablo Siquier and Fabián Lebenglik, amongst others. Amongst his group exhibitions are: Confluencias (Museo Juan Yaparí, Posadas, 2005); Cultural Chandon 2005 (Museo Timotéo Navarro, San Miguel de Tucumán, 2005); La Belleza Alterada (Galería Agalma, 2006); Berkwnwald, Comba, González, Paredes (Galería Palatina, 2006); Periférica (Centro Cultural Borges, 2006); Besando ranas (Centro Cultural Borges, 2007); Feria Internacional de Arte de Caracas (2008); Misiones Pinta Bien (Museo Juan Yaparí, Posadas, 2008); Argentina Pinta Bien (Centro Cultural Recoleta, 2009); Proyecto Circular (Palais de Glace, 2009); y en ArteBA, ediciones 2005, 2007, 2008 y 2009. Realizó las muestras individuales Enredos (Bajada Vieja, Posadas, 2005); Galería Monet Plaza Arte (Santa María, Brasil, 2006); Primavera eterna (Espacio Azcue, 2006); Intrincado (Espacio de Arte Radio Libertad, Resistencia, 2006); and Pulmoncito (Centro Cultural Rojas, 2006). He took part of the third edition of the Bienal del Fin del Mundo in Ushuaia, 2011.

Augusto Zanela

  • Augusto Zanela was born in 1967 in Buenos Aires, where he lives and works. He graduated in architecture from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). He took courses and seminars on photography, drawings and aesthetics. He founded and currently directs the Photography Workshop at the Architecture Faculty (UBA). He is a teacher at the Universities of Belgrano and Tres de Febrero, and the Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas. He has been acknowledged by Fondo Metropolitano de Cultura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Asociación Argentina de Críticos de Arte, Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales, Asociación Argentina de Galerías de Arte, Centro Cultural Borges, Fundación Antorchas, Fondo Nacional de las Artes and Guillermo Kuitca Scholarship.
