Born in Buenos Aires in 1969, he begins his studies at Prilidiano Pueyrredón Fine Arts School at the end of 1980s. Between 1988-1996, he worked in Guillermo Urbano and Juan Doffo’s workshop. He participated in art clinics conducted by Pablo Siquier and Mónica Girón. In 1993, he obtained his Bachelors in graphic design from the University of Buenos Aires.
In the last years of the 90s, he abandoned the bidimensional media, which he had used in a previous stage of his pictorical praxis, to begin investigating new forms and incorporate a third dimension.
He exhibited his work in different galleries, museums and cultural centers in Argentina and abroad. Amongst them, we emphasize on Muestra de arte digital, MNBA, (1999); Boulevard concreto, Instituto de Cooperación Iberoamericana (I.C.I.), Buenos Aires, (2001); Arte en centímetros, Galería Luis Fernando Pradilla, Madrid, (2002); Onírico y privado, Fundación Telefónica, Buenos Aires, (2004); and 69 Polara, MACRO Museo de arte Contemporáneo, Rosario (2006). He took part in the art fairs Art Chicago (2002), Artissima (2003) and Dabbah Torrejón gallery’s space.
He received several awards such as the Ignacio Pirovano Young Artist Annual Award; the AACA’s 2006 Visual Arts Award (2007); First prize from JF Klemm Foundation (2005); and the benefit for creation from Antorchas Foundation (2002). In 2010 he was part of URRA’ s Art Residence.
Amongst other activities, he has worked as assistant professor at the Architecture Department of the University of Buenos Aires. He co-directed Espacio Duplus devoted to promulgating and developing contemporary art and assisting artist Nicolás Guagnini. He currently works and lives in Buenos Aires.
