PROA TV. Interview with James Pritchett: 4’33″ and John Cage’s silent pieces
In an interview with Pablo Gianera for PROA TV, James Pritchett, the american expert and personal friend of John Cage, develops some quotes from his book “The music of John Cage” and talks about the famous silent piece that marked a milestone in contemporary music.
The interview took place in the framework of the International Symposium John Cage that Fundación Proa and Teatro Colón / Colón Contemporáneo organized as part of the tribute to the great musician of the twentieth century on the centenary of his birth.
