Ensemble 2e2m
The Ensemble 2e2m has premiered and pioneered the presentation of more than six hundred works by composers today considered indispensable, like Ferneyhough (since1974), Donatoni (since 1977), Dusapin (since 1979), Gubaidulina (since 1980), y Scelsi (since 1982) . This line of work has currently been projected to include collaborations with new generations of composers, like Laurent Martin, Thierry Blondeau, Oscar Strasnoy, Franck Bedrossian, Jérôme Combier, Aureliano Cattaneo, Karim Haddad, Noriko Baba y Octavio López.

It has also dedicated itself to the exploration and recovery of significant but forgotten composers like Klein and Ullman; also including composers from past centuries like Bach, Schubert, Debussy and Lizst, and the fundamental voices of the 20th Century: Cage, Feldman, Messiaen, Ligeti, Stockhausen, Ives, Ravel y Varese. Ensamble 2e2m has recorded more than 30 albums through different international labels.

It receives the support of the City Council Champigny-sur-Marne, Val-de-Marne Département, Ministry of Culture, I’Ile-de-France, the Sacem and the City of Paris. Pierre Roullier, it’s musical director since 2005, defines the purpose of the group as “gathering the greatest possible audiences of all kinds in our concerts and make them discover new works that will form tomorrow’s repertoire”.
