Fundación PROA presents international contemporary video event ‘Art in the Auditorium’ along with a series of installations and interventions. This second part of ‘Art in the Auditorium’ involves six other institutions and the works of Lars Laumann (Norway), Inci Eviner (Turkey), Ursula Mayer (United Kingdom), Patrizio Di Massimo (Italy), Aïda Ruilova (United States) and Nova Paul (New Zealand).

The artists were nominated by the partner institutions Withechapel Gallery of London, GAMeC of Bergamo, Kunstsenter of Oslo, Istanbul Modern and City Gallery Wellington. PROA nominated the Argentine artist Charly Nijensohn’s Dead Forest (Storm), 2009.

PROA also presents a series of site-specific interventions from Argentine and international artists: Luisa Rabbia (Italian artist living in New York) shows her video Travels with Isabella: Travell Scrapbooks 1883-2008, 2009, besides the installation The following day, no one died, 2009.

Alejandra Seeber (Argentine residing in New York) exhibits her wallpapers and exceptional glass bubbles. Moreover, Mirtha Dermisache, Elba Bairon and Esteban Pastorino´s works will be shown with the coordination of Cintia Mezza and Olga Martínez.

Curator Florencia Malbrán presents Alejandro Cesarco´s Marguerite Duras´ India Song, 2006 and Jorge Méndez Blake´s recent works.

In addition, Fundación PROA screens Martín Rejtman´s first documentary film, Copacabana.
