Proa launches PROATV, its new series of podcasts
Fundación Pora launches PROATV, its project of podcasts with different guests invited to the centre of art of La Boca to speak about a special topic of interest, make a comment on the current exhibition or perform a work of art live.
Done with the support of Universidad del Cine of Buenos Aires, PROATV will be presented in different chapters in the web page of Proa, www.proa.org, and will be available to come out into format of audio or video. The users also will be able to subscribe to the podcasts and to receive them in their e-mails.
The first series of PROATV has three chapters dedicated to the exhibition Marcel Duchamp: a work that is not a work “of art”. In the first two Graciela Speranza Marcel Duchamp speaks on the paradoxes of the readymades and the effect in the Argentine literature. In the following chapter Juan Jose Cambre tries to sit his position “in opposition to Duchamp” and debates on the current importance of Duchamp´s work.
As it is possible to see in Tate Gallery’s web, PROATV will bring a live tour over also to his visitors online for its building and activities with important personalities.
